Chief Executive Officer
Springer joined Ironclad as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in May of 2025 and is excited to deliver our vision of redefining how companies manage their contracts. He also serves on the boards of UiPath and SmartNews. Springer has over 25 years of executive leadership experience in driving innovation and hypergrowth across technology, specifically SaaS, companies. He helmed both DocuSign and Responsys as CEO, taking the two companies public and transforming them into dramatic leaders in their spaces. Springer has also previously served as a board member at both public and private companies, including iCIMS, Ansira, YuMe, ELOAN, Heighten, Persado, and eGroups (Yahoo!), as well as at nonprofits, including The Boys and Girls Club, YearUp, The Urban School, Shop.org, AdTech, The Randall Museum and The San Francisco Friends School. Springer holds an MBA from Harvard University and an AB in Mathematics and Economics from Occidental College and has been honored as both a Bay Area Most Admired CEO and Best CEO.
Co-founder and Executive Chairman
Jason Boehmig is the co-founder and Executive Chairman of Ironclad, the leading AI-powered platform for digital contract management used by companies like Salesforce, OpenAI, and L’Oréal. Before founding Ironclad, Jason practiced law at Fenwick & West, where he helped pioneer the development of technology initiatives that became widely adopted in the legal industry. He is a former adjunct professor at Notre Dame Law School and guest lecturer at universities like Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Cornell, and Northwestern.
Co-founder
Cai Wangwilt has always been passionate about building products that make people more effective at their jobs. He is an MIT graduate in Computer Science and Physics, as well as a former software engineer at Palantir Technologies. By day, he’s a celebrated software engineer and thoughtful leader; by night, he’s a concert cellist and karaoke enthusiast.
President
Jeremy Smith joined Ironclad as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) in August of 2023 and was promoted to President in August of 2024; Smith leads the go-to-market functions of Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Marketing, Partnerships, Professional Services, Operations, Enablement, and Support. He has more than 25 years of professional experience and over a decade of executive leadership experience with organizations such as ServiceNow, Flexport, LaunchDarkly, Dell, and Altiris (acquired by Symantec). Smith spent several years building the GTM function in Europe for ServiceNow and was a part of the team that led that organization through a successful IPO. When not at work he enjoys golfing, skiing, watch repairs and restorations, and serving food sensitive youth with his wife in the Denver metro area.
Chief Financial Officer
Helen Wang is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Ironclad, the leading AI platform for digital contract management. Prior to Ironclad, she was the CFO for eBay’s Global Payments business, where she helped scale eBay’s Managed Payments platform to over $2 billion in run rate revenue. Helen began her career in M&A, leading teams at both eBay and Rothschild, Inc. She graduated from Harvard Business School as a George F. Baker Scholar. In her free time, Helen can be found chasing after her children and/or playing doubles pickleball with her husband.
Chief People Officer
Vertesi has spent fifteen years leading hypergrowth technology organizations to global scale and top employer recognition. She is currently Chief People & Workplace Officer at Ironclad, which was recently named to Fortune’s Top Employers List—her third company to earn this distinction under her leadership. Previously, as Vice President of People and Workplace at Duo Security and Hootsuite, she helped scale both from 100 to 1,000+ employees and achieve billion-dollar valuations. A recognized industry leader, she has been named one of Forbes’ Top 100 HR Executives in Technology and featured in Fortune and Fast Company. Vertesi is also an Operating Partner at Operator Collective, co-founder of HR Open Source, and an active board member and speaker passionate about community and the future of work. In her free time, she enjoys traveling across continents and exploring new cultures and resides in Vancouver with her family.
Chief Sales Officer
Stonhaus brings over 20 years of enterprise cloud software and sales management experience to Ironclad. Prior to joining, he spent 15 years at Salesforce, where he held various sales leadership positions—most recently running their manufacturing vertical, a $500M+ business unit. Stonhaus is passionate about building a “destination culture” and high-performing teams, and in his spare time also loves taking his two daughters golfing.
Chief Customer Officer
As Chief Customer Officer, Edmondson oversees Ironclad’s Customer Outcomes organization, focused on driving value at every stage of the customer lifecycle. He brings more than 25 years of software industry experience, having led teams in pre-sales, customer success, professional services, and customer relationship management at companies ranging from Oracle and Zendesk to AI startup Cresta. A U.S. Military Academy graduate and former Army officer, Edmondson is committed to cultivating diverse, high-impact teams that deliver meaningful results for customers.
SVP of Product
Jill Larson is a seasoned product and go-to-market leader with over 25 years of experience driving product strategy, marketing, and sales to accelerate business growth. As SVP of Product & Design at Ironclad, she leads the development and execution of innovative solutions that empower legal teams and drive business impact.
Prior to Ironclad, Larson was the Chief Product Officer at Qualtrics, where she spearheaded the market research product category, launching multiple new products and driving significant ARR and renewal growth. She also held leadership roles at Microsoft, where she played a key role in Office 365’s growth strategy and Surface’s go-to-market execution. With a career spanning executive roles in product, marketing, branding, and sales, Larson is passionate about building customer-centric solutions that transform industries.
Chief Information Security Officer
Fiedler is a seasoned engineering and cybersecurity leader with over two decades of experience in technical operations, infrastructure, and product development. He currently serves as Chief Information Security Officer and Head of Security Operations at Ironclad, where he leads security and compliance strategy, overseeing infrastructure security, risk management, and data protection.
Previously, Fiedler led customer experience and engineering at Blameless and spent nearly eight years at Salesforce, where he played a key role in scaling Einstein Infrastructure, leading teams across site reliability engineering, security, developer operations, and compliance. His earlier roles include Director of IT Operations at Strata Decision Technology, where he modernized infrastructure and pioneered DevOps initiatives, as well as engineering positions at Trustwave, IBM, and CompUSA.
Known for building high-performing teams and delivering enterprise-grade solutions, Fiedler brings deep expertise in site reliability, infrastructure engineering, and digital transformation.
General Counsel
Singh joined Ironclad as General Counsel in October of 2024, bringing extensive in-house legal experience from leadership roles at Binti (Chief Legal and People Officer), Patreon (Deputy General Counsel), Pinterest (Assistant General Counsel), and 24 Hour Fitness (Corporate Counsel). She began her career as a Big Law litigator and has built expertise in scaling legal teams, negotiating complex transactions, leading culture initiatives, and implementing contract management solutions (including Ironclad!). Singh serves on the boards of Public Advocates and California Change Lawyers and founded Dincert, a decentralized philanthropy initiative that has raised tens of thousands for local nonprofits. She graduated Order of the Coif from UCLA Law, earned her B.A. with high distinction from the University of Michigan, and has been recognized by the SF Business Journal as one of the most influential women in Bay Area business, by Women, by Influence & Power Law Awards for her mentorship, and by Girls Leadership for her work empowering women. Outside of work, she’s a fitness enthusiast and tries to regularly relive her days as a former indoor cycling instructor and competitive bhangra and hip hop dancer.
Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer
Elise Bergeron is Chief Strategy Officer at Ironclad. Bergeron has shaped product marketing and community engagement strategies across Silicon Valley’s most innovative companies. Most recently, she was SVP Product Marketing and Communities at Snowflake, following their acquisition of the company she co-founded, Stride Software. She previously served as VP of Marketing for SalesforceIQ/Einstein at Salesforce and has held leadership roles at Facebook and Vistaprint. Her career is marked by scaling companies, fostering vibrant communities, and navigating acquisitions in the SaaS and data technology sectors. Elise holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Stanford University.
Chief Technology Officer
Verma is a transformative and inspirational technology leader with deep experience in AI/ML, large language models (LLMs), distributed systems, and data technologies. Verma is a long-time Google veteran who most recently served as Chief Technology Officer of Character AI where she created the innovation agenda in multimodal AI, leading to the launch of AvatarFX. Prior to Character, she was Vice President and General Manager of Google’s Core Labs. In her role, she was responsible for driving innovation across engineering and product for new platforms and product experiences that incorporated generative AI and LLMs. She also served as the Head of Ads Quality for Google’s Search & Shopping Ads business, where she initiated and launched a suite of category-defining advertiser experiences including Responsive Search Ads. Additionally, Verma worked across Google’s Payments and Distributed Infrastructure teams, driving lasting impact across a wide range of Google’s leading consumer & Enterprise products.
Verma is passionate about engagement with the academic community. While at Google, she worked closely on an outreach program to help Googlers engage with college programs and helped remove barriers for underrepresented talent in the tech industry. She led the Search Ads Academic Outreach Committee and has been a long-time supporter and participant of the Women Techmakers Engineering Fellow (WTEF) program and a dedicated mentor, coach, and adviser to senior women across the Bay Area tech community.
